Overview of CCPH Group

Picture
The ISU Community Campus Partnership for Health (CCPH) is a community outreach and service initiative administered through the Department of Kinesiology at Iowa State University. A unique, and unifying theme of the CCPH model is that it capitalizes on local knowledge while also promoting shared learning. Separate lines of programming are managed at the local and state level.

Local Programming

The CCPH group provides support for local community organizations including the Story County Quality of Life Alliance and Healthiest Ames. These partnerships synergistically work to help promote healthy lifestyles in the community.

State Programming

The CCPH group manages lines of participatory research that support local communities while also advancing public health knowledge about the keys to effective and sustainable programming.

For example, the CCPH group manages the dissemination of the SWITCH program and the VERB Summer Scorecard Program. Visit the CCPH website for details on how to enroll in these programs (www.CCPH.iastate.edu)
