Kin 294 A/B - Practicum in adult fitness assessment

Training through KIN 294 provides the foundational training to take on broader roles with the ISU Walk with Ease (WWE) program.  Students trained in 294 are eligible to be WWE Leaders to gain further research and leadership skills in adult fitness programming. Details are provided below.
Course Overview
Kin294 is a practicum course designed to give students exposure and experience with fitness assessments tailored specifically for older adults. The course has two components (A & B) and students should sign up for both since they are both required to complete the full practicum experience.

Completion of the foundational training (A) is required to complete the practicum component (B). However, once a student completes B, they can enroll in subsequent semesters to serve as a peer leader, to gain additional experience and to get involved in the management of the associated Walk with Ease research projects coordinate in the lab.
